Back in September I photographed Seth and Holly’s wedding at Rancho Capistrano in Laguna Beach. These two are a beautiful couple with a history that’s rich in flavor. As a Wedding Photographer – I try to spend as much time as I can gettting to know each couple before their big day arrives. Many times a bride will give me her personal (and uncensored) version of their “how we met” story over the phone….those are always fun stories with juicy tidbits. Along the way there is an engagment session and a dinner involved (and a few more phone calls) and by the time we get to their big day, I feel like I know their whole story. Of course, I never know the whole story… I can usually expect to learn a thing or two more when it comes time for the toasts just for starters. And sometimes there will be a ceremony that is so passionate and so steeped in love from every family member – that I  learn something new and beautiful about what kind of lovely, humble and giving people my clients really are. That’s what Seth and Holly’s wedding day was for me.   Being the person that got to capture their story was such an honor. Thank you two for being you! ~J
