Venice, Italy Photography

When I returned from Italy a few weeks back, I hit the ground running with more travel and weddings to shoot. It wasn’t until last week that I finally had the chance to take a look at all the images from my stay in Venice. I mentioned in an earlier post … I went to Italy for two weeks on a house exchange. Having your own apartment in an unfamiliar city, makes you feel like a local – INSTANTLY! So I tried my best to act like one while I was there. I was surprised to find that on the 7th day I actually woke up speaking Italian! Well, of course I’m sure I sounded SO AMERICAN – but I didn’t need to use my American words for all the basics….”Good Afternoon” “How are you”, “how much is that”, “I’ll have one of those”, “Campari Spritz Please”, “Give me a glass of Wine”,  “I’ll have one more”, “That is SO GOOD!”, “Thank you so much”, “See you tomorrow”.
