I just HAD to post this sneak peak from Rachel and Mario’s wedding in Yonkers. The venue has only recently opened for events – I’m told we were one of the very first weddings on the premesis. All you brides out there getting married in NY, you HAVE to check out this location. This 3 story mansion was once home to nuns and then went abandon for years. Inside the enormous haunted house, most of the rooms are empty and unfinished: think paint pealing off the walls to reveal interesting colors underneath. Also, they say there is a ghost of a small girl who plays the violin in the basement at night. I went down into that basement and there is only one word for it: SPOOKY! Tony and I took 3 steps in and retreated out of there SO FAST. Can’t wait to show the whole wedding in the coming weeks.

Tony Z: Super cool venue!! It was amazing how awesome and elegant the wedding was and just one floor down was a basement that freaked me the heck out!

Erin and Chris literally met at the copy machine at work, the place where employees can go to find a brief moment of solace in an otherwise busy workday. It’s only fitting these two would choose to get married at the iconic Boathouse in Central Park….the most serene and relaxing venue in all of Manhattan. Before the ceremony the couple got ready at The Hudson Hotel nearby. Most people who have visited New York are familiar with the sleek lines and signature glowing yellow glass of this boutique hotel (below).  Stay tuned this week and peek inside Erin and Chris’ unique celebration within the tree-lined walls of Central Park. mary grace: damn, what a handsome couple!!!!! (hey, even Mange made the cut!)

Heather: What a beautiful looking couple. Erin has FAB-U-LOUS Hair!!!

Erin: The day we booked Jill + Tony to photograph our wedding, Chris said "they'll make us look like rockstars"... and THEY DID! Much love to the most talented photo team.

Jessica planned her wedding with one person in mind … Brian. She said her main priority was for him to feel comfortable and have a good time! Something tells me that Jessica is going to make a VERY GOOD wife (= Her advice to others who are planning a wedding? “Things are going to go wrong. No matter how hard you try…Just let it go and have fun anyway. I did. It worked like a charm. Best night of my life.” One more reason to love Jessica? Her DEBUT NOVEL is coming out this February! It’s called Opression and it’s the first in the series: Children of the Gods. If you liked Twilight , then you’re gonna love Jessica’s work. Check out her blog at http://jessica-therrien.blogspot.com. This girl is definitely one to watch!
