Fall was here….then I blinked and it was gone. I couldn’t let this shoot slip past the blog. The Dokoza Family is one of the very first families I photographed when I was first starting my family business. It was such a pleasure when they called to let me know their family now had four and that my services were needed to re-tell the story of their family. I loved hanging in the pumkin patch and then later at the beach….thank you for catching up with me Dokoza Family! I look forward to helping to voice the story of your family over the years (:
Christina and Jennifer are a couple of GREAT GIRLS! But they wouldn’t have gotten that way if it weren’t for their AWESOME parents! So when mom and dad’s anniversary rolled around this year – the girls treated them to a weekend in the town where their parents met….Manhattan Beach! And to document their special time together, the girls asked me to do an ANNIVERSARY SHOOT for the whole family! There was a moment during the session when mom had a flood of emotion and memories and overall feeling of gratitude, that she began to tear up! I feel a little choked up just writing about it. The girls definitely gave their mom the perfect gift to commemorate her marriage. I can only hope to have kids this thoughtful one day! ….and perhaps a family that is as attractive as this one – don’t ya think?
