We recently photographed Cat and Jim’s beautiful garden wedding at a private estate in Pasadena. I think if I had to specialize in one kind of wedding … it would be that intimate wedding with just a few guests. We’ve had the good fortune to work a few of those lately … I just like the opportunity it gives me to exchange smiles with people. Anyway – don’t get me wrong … big weddings are fun and exciting too – I’m getting ready to post one of those soon – so stay tuned (= For now, a sneak peak of the lovely Cat and Jim.

I love this picture of Erin and Chris so much, that I had to post it right away. When Chris planted this passionate kiss onto Erin atop the Brooklyn Bridge – I think he took us both by surprise! He picked the exact right time to exercise his spontaneity! Walking the Brooklyn Bridge, overlooking the skyline of downtown – it’s kind of like Disneyland – it brings out a person’s festive side every time! Stay tuned for more favorites from Erin and Chris’ New York Engagement Session. p.s. they’re getting married at the boathouse in August (eeeek!!! so flippin’ excited for that!)

Smart people are the one’s who book a wedding in Florida when it’s crazy cold where they live in New York City… gosh, I sure do  LOVE to surround myself with SMART PEOPLE!!! Incorporating a mini-vacation for all of your wedding guests is something that really lights me up! (= I just loved the tropical motif  that Selena and Mike chose … and how they carried the colors and theme of the Spa Destination throughout their event.

I wanted to thank ALL the vendors on this event who were SO WONDERFUL to us! The staff at The Palms was especially easy and attentive to work with – if you’re looking to get married at The Palms in Miami, I can assure that you will be received with 5 star service …. and so will the people you decide to bring on board. I should mention, DJ Kruz was probably one of the best I’ve ever heard…but then of course he was – hello? MIAMI!  Congratulations Selena and Mike – thank you for choosing us as a part of your team….to capture your picture perfect day!
