Christina and Jennifer are a couple of GREAT GIRLS! But they wouldn’t have gotten that way if it weren’t for their AWESOME parents! So when mom and dad’s anniversary rolled around this year – the girls treated them to a weekend in the town where their parents met….Manhattan Beach!  And to document their special time together, the girls asked me to do an ANNIVERSARY SHOOT for the whole family!  There was a moment during the session when mom had a flood of emotion and memories and overall feeling of gratitude, that she began to tear up! I feel a little choked up just writing about it. The girls definitely gave their mom the perfect gift to commemorate her marriage.  I can only hope to have kids this thoughtful one day! ….and perhaps a family that is as attractive as this one – don’t ya think?

Brianna’s baby sister came to visit her this summer for a few weeks (what a score to have a big sister that lives on the California coast!)…. being a good sister, Bri planned all sorts of fun things for the two of them to do – Mani’s/Pedi’s, 6 Flags, Beach Day, Shop till you Drop in Hollywood – you know, good time girly things. Obviously, the MOST fun thing on the list was a Sister Shoot with yours truly (: Sister Sesh’s are something I do on a regular basis….but this was my first shoot with sisters that were over the age of 7. It was fun and refreshing! Why do we stop doing Sister Photography when we hit a certain age? Maybe I’ll have to make a Sister Sitting Session Special to encourage more sisters to get together for a picture or two (: Thanks Brianna and Colleen for a fabulous afternoon, you two are too cute!

If they came to me and said…Jill – you can only do one genre of photography for the rest of your life…..??? Boudoir. It would have to be boudoir. Girls get to act like girls and feel good about themselves and be sexy! This is what women are born to do. I’m a big fan of loving your body and feeling confident enough to get down in your skivvy’s and CELEBRATE yourself in front of the camera!!! Now, of course that’s so easy to say when you look like Kristi! She’s a goddess….sheesh….she looks like Cindy Crawford!  Great job Kristi, the camera certainly does love you!
