These pictures just made me laugh, so I thought I’d put them up and see if anyone else found them humorous. Part of the job of the second photographer is also to be the test-shot model. Or in this case, Judy Reyes’ celebrity double. I love seeing T pretend to open some of Judy’s gifts before she arrived at the party. I’ll be posting pictures from Judy’s “Berry Sweet Baby Shower” soon! ~J

Modern Wedding Photography | 365 Photography | Day 261/2
December 17, 2009At every event there is that one person that your camera natually gravitates to….(besides the bride and groom of course). Sometimes it is the prettiest bridesmaid. Or the groomsman with the most charisma. At this event it was Zach. Zach completely stole the show with his cute little personality and his persistent inquiries about gum. I mean, who could resist that miniature tuxedo and those larger than life eyes? I seriously wanted to take this kid home with me. How could I possibly deny him a piece of gum? ~J
Southern California Wedding Photographer | 365 Photography | Day 257-260
December 16, 2009I did a little math in my head last night. [frightening!] If we want to finish up this 365 project in the allotted “three hundred and sixty five” days, I better start posting more than one image per day. So as Tony would put it….this one is a four-banger.
Our friend Megan took these pictures of us downton a few weeks back. What I can’t seam to understand is why Megan is not a full-time Professional Photographer…..or even a part-time Professional Photographer for that matter! You don’t just put a camera in a person’s hand and get pictures that come out like this. What Megan has is a Photographer’s Eye. Raw Talent. She’s a natural with composition. She’s actually been shooting for years and years….much longer than I. In fact she’s taught me a lot of what I know! Can you tell? If I could simultaneously stand behind the camera while also standing in front of it….this is what my pictures would look like! Thank you Megan, for inspiring me in my photography journey AND for being a guest photographer in our (seemingly never-ending) project: 365 Days of Jill and Tony. We love you! ~J
