If you’re just joining us, Tony and I are a husband and wife Wedding and Portrait Photography team. This year we’ve commited to posting a picture of ourselves EVERYDAY for 365 days. It’s super hard to keep up during wedding season…(which is right now)…..but we’re celebrating the MARK OF OUR HALF-WAY POINT (WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! HOOOOOOOOOOOOO) with a sweet little surf story.

Um ok, did you hear what I said? We made it to the half-way point!!!!

This week our friends Laura and Ken came to visit from Seattle. We’ve had such a lovely time enjoying the company of some fellow newlyweds. This is my very first summer living in Southern California, I love it that everything centers around surfing. And I love it that Tony and all of his friends enjoy the sport and culture of a good surf! This Break: Trails – San Onofre.

The Gregory’s are a rad clan! This was my second time shooting them and now I feel like they’re the kind of friends that you can just pick up where you left off – even if it’s been a while since you’ve talked. Thanks for a great morning in Oakland you guys! And happy 2 to Dyson!!!! xoxoxo

FACT: All Kids Love Tony

FACT: All Kids Love Tony Because he invents HIGH ENERGY – EXCEEDINGLY INTERACTIVE Games that kids remember with titles like : “Ball Into…”, “Let the baby go through”,  “DANGER…you can’t step on my feet”, “Let’s dig a hole we can crawl through”, and the most recent, “How High Can I Launch You” (Pictured Here)

FACT: Tony will play these games – TIRELESSLY – for hours on end while moms engage in conversation and enjoy tasty snacks and beverages prepared by yours truly.

Tony and I have tried to design our lives so that we don’t have to spend much time on the LA Freeways….everyone knows the traffic will drive you NUTS! So we share a car, and I ride my bike to most places I go. Even still….sometimes we find ourselves there. Stuck in traffic with nothing else to do…why not 365? You can see the mini-van in the reflection of this tanker. Squint real hard and you can see us just beyond the dash.
