Honkey Tonk Honeymoon

Tony and I almost didn’t take a honeymoon because we’re saving up to go to Thailand at the end of the year

Tony and I almost didn’t take a honeymoon because we’re saving up to go to Thailand at the end of the year. If I can have one word of advice to all newlyweds….TAKE THE HONEYMOON…..IMMEDIATELY! We were able to sneak away to Austin, Texas for a few days of fun after the wedding. Everyday went mostly the same:

   1. Wake Up Late

   2. Mozy over to the Shady Grove for some Grub.

   3. Enjoy some sun at Barton Springs.

   4. Repeat

Here’s some pictures of the fun. Hey, if anyone knows how to create a hyperlink in photoshop can you please give me a call. I could use some “slicing” support. I only know how to do it with my text files in Word. 917.650.5736.

Kid Show

July 17, 2008

This post is inspired by my good friend Murell

This post is inspired by my good friend Murell. Today is her 10th birthday. Happy Birthday Murell!!!

So last time I was in NY I was riding the subway with Murell and she was telling me a story about what happened on one of her Saturday morning cartoons. Because we’ve been friends for so long, I like to be extra goofy with Murell. I interrupted her story and said…..”then did they say, You’re a Hot Tranny Messsssss, FIERCE!”????

That girl did not miss a beat. She looked up at me straight-faced and said, “I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t say that on a Kid Show.”

That’s a New York City kid for ya….they always know what’s up. Here’s the Hot Mess Skit from Saturday Night Live. It makes me laugh every time. And for the record, it’s probably not for kids.
